MY NHS EXPERIENCE
Meet Andy, Lynette and Sophie.
We follow the story of these three people and their experience of racism and lack of support in their workplace. The stories are 3-4 minute long animations, designed to illustrate the incident and the subsequent lack of support. The focus is on each person’s emotional landscape. We are given the scenario, the context, the incident itself, and the impact on their mental and emotional wellbeing. This body of work is part of the wider WRES Strategy (Workforce Race Equality Standard) adopted by one of the biggest employers of the country. These animations are being used in workshops and training sessions on race relations and are supported by podcasts, radio shows, and other material designed to create discussion and points of reference for the sessions.
